Accomplishing Your True Calling
,p>If you’re sitting at home, attempting to determine how to spend your night, ask yourself the heart and soul question. Observe how particular options feel hardhearted and void, while other courses bring about a tingle of fervor when you think about them.
Let your heart and soul help you discover the correct course. Take note that the word courage is in the word encouragement. Once we identify the course with a heart and soul, we feel boosted to get moving.
Maybe rather than watching TV, you’re boosted to read something that makes you fell good. Perhaps rather than playing PC games, you’re boosted to have a rich conversation with your partner about the future of your love and life. And perhaps rather than simply going through the motions at your job, you’re boosted to press yourself to make the most beneficial contribution you are able to. The heart centered option leads you to the course of conscious development.
No one may pressure you into a state of unity. It may only be felt by conscious choice. This choice includes both mental and emotional sides.
The mental choice calls for choosing to view the world through the lens of interconnection, to see yourself as piece of a greater body, and to assume the new level of responsibility that develops from that position. The emotional option is to by choice tune in to this everpresent connection and to feel it as joy.
In order to really master unity, both the mental and the emotional sides have to be integrated. You have to realize the truth of unity, as well as feel your loving connection to other people.
If you only have the mental side, you’ll comprehend and agree with the logic of unity, but you won’t truly get it intuitively. You’ll lack the push to turn your realizations into direct actions.
If you only bear the emotional side, you’ll intuitively feel that we’re all connected at some level, but you’ll lack a reasonable reality to understand it. You’ll feel united and joyous at times, but you’ll have a difficult time mixing that into all parts of your life.
When building up a sense of unity, it’s helpful to start by centering on either the mental or the emotional side, depending upon whether you prefer your system of logic or intuition.
Particular issues may prevent you from easily forging fresh connections and intensifying your existing ones, holding you in a ceaseless state of disconnection. Here are a few of the most basic roadblocks that take you out of alignment with affection.
Law Of Attraction: Affection Roadblocks
Removing The Setbacks In Love.
There was a time, in the not-so-distant past, when families were expected to give up everything in order to achieve the financial security they craved. Perhaps you remember those decades, perhaps you are too young to recall those times.
Those were the days when climbing the corporate ladder was a revered activity, and wives and children gazed fondly at pictures of the breadwinner in order to remember whether poor, exhausted Dad had blue eyes or brown.
Large companies moved employees from one city to another, like pawns on a chessboard and, if you had any hope of climbing the ladder toward upper management positions, you packed up the wife and kids and moved on from Chicago, to Boston, to New York, to Tokyo.
In the intervening years, the divorce rate climbed, fathers lost touch with their families and died of heart attacks and strokes at an alarming rate. When these men retired, they felt useless and unproductive.
Over the years, the identity of these men had become inextricably tied to their success on the job. New retirees found themselves wondering who they were, and why they were living with women who were complete strangers to them. And, whatever happened to those darling kids who used to live in the house?
Then women entered the workforce in earnest and joined the rat race.
Lest you think that this rat race has come to an end, look to the evidence of stress related death and illness, an increase in the average number of hours worked by employees in the U.S. and around the world, skyrocketing numbers of divorces and children in single-parent families.
And, let us not forget those of us who are responsible for the care of aging parents.
We live in a world of conveniences that were designed to give us more leisure time. But, it would seem that all the informational overload, whirring computers and media blitz has given us is more time for work.
It is not unusual for men and women to work sixty or seventy hours per week on average. Some of us work eighty or ninety hours without batting an eyelash. And, we fool ourselves into thinking we have a life!
General Cooking Tips
1. Add a little zest. When a recipe calls for a “zest” of a citrus fruit, it’s referring to the colorful outer part of the skin, not the inner white part, which is known as the pith. The zest contains all of the aromatic citrus oils and provides a hint of citrus tang to the recipe. A simple method of obtaining a fine zest is by rubbing the fruit against the smallest holes of a cheese grater.
2. Don’t be afraid to experiment. Good cooks are never afraid to deviate from a recipe and add their own flair. Whenever you make a substitution or addition be sure to make a note on the recipe so you remember next time whether you liked the change or not.
3. Salted butter vs. unsalted butter. Butter is available both with and without salt. The salt is added for extra flavor and to help preserve it so it has a longer shelf life. The problem is that sometimes the salt in butter can be more than a recipe needs. Choosing unsalted butter gives you more control over how much salt your dish contains. If you only have salted butter, the best thing to do is omit approximately ¼ teaspoon of salt per ½ cup (one stick) of butter used in the recipe.
4. Use your kitchen scissors. Right now you probably only use your kitchen scissors for opening packaging and bags of milk. But next time you’re trimming fat from a roast, opening pitas or cutting chicken into strips, consider using your scissors! Chefs use them all the time for cutting meats and other food items. It’s probably best to have a pair that are designated as food scissors only. And be sure you clean them very well after each use because they do have crevices where bacteria can hide.
All people are surrounded by a thought atmosphere. . . Through this force we’re either drawing in or forcing back. Like draws in like and…we draw in exactly what we are in mind.
The law of attraction, or what I refer to as resonance manifestation, is the principle by which you draw into your life that which is in vibrational alignment with your awareness; your thoughts, feelings, opinions and attitudes, whether you’re mindful of them or not.
This is why the starting point on the road to successfully and deliberately manifesting your desires is to become aware of the thoughts and feelings that are producing your experience and to take responsibility for your reality.
Accepting responsibility for your life without judgment is both empowering and liberating. When you understand that you’re source not subject of your existence, you are able to modify it.
Further more, when you realize that you’re always backed up by an all-loving, intelligent universe that you’re ever united with, you’ll be able to allow and engage co-creation where synchronicities and serendipities burst, “hows” are magically taken care of and issues in your life seamlessly woven into a tapestry of dreams come true.
The law of attraction is the power of like attracting like and the means by which you magnetically materialize that which you center your attention upon and are in energetic balance with.

Let’s get started!
Jesus, who is the central figure of Christianity, was born of a virgin, and proclaimed in the New Testament as the Lamb, (or child) of God.
I am basing this book on that premise, since it is embedded in my mind that it is the one and only truth, in spite of what other religions may believe. The thought that it isn’t the truth is nothing but hogwash in my mind, and I will continue to praise the name of Jesus until I am called home, and no longer of this earth.
Christians come in all sizes, shapes, colors. We are either tall or short; skinny, pleasingly plump…and onward; red, yellow, black, or white, and come from all corners of our earth. We all may not have one thing in common, other than the fact that we love Jesus, and bigger and better yet…He loves us! That doesn’t make us better than other people…just Forgiven!
Christ was crucified and died for my sins, and yours. He died on what we observe as Good Friday, and arose 3 days later, on what we celebrate as Easter.
The date of Jesus’ birth and death, and His subsequent age at the time of His death has been in the hands of scholars for hundreds of years, without any solid confirmation. Since there were no records kept back then, they can only go on time lines in history, and assume the rest. They all conclude that Jesus was over thirty, with many stating He had to be in His forties when he was crucified. This also lends itself to discussion of how long His ministry actually existed. Was it 31/2 years, or was it twelve years?
I honestly don’t know what difference it makes, nor do I care about the logistics of it. What I DO care about, is that Jesus is my Savior and Master. Enough said!
Life and Expression
By exercise of its faculties the spirit grows, just as a muscle grows strong thru continued use. Expression is necessary. Life is expression, and repression is stagnation–death.
Yet, there can be right and wrong expression. If a man permits his life to run riot and only the animal side of his nature is allowed to express itself, he is repressing his highest and best, and the qualities not used atrophy and die.
Men are punished by their sins, not for them. Sensuality, gluttony, and the life of license repress the life of the spirit, and the soul never blossoms; and this is what it is to lose one’s soul. All adown the centuries thinking men have noted these truths, and again and again we find individuals forsaking in horror the life of the senses and devoting themselves to the life of the spirit. This question of expression through the spirit, or through the senses–through soul or body–has been the pivotal point of all philosophy and the inspiration of
One of the main reasons for problems arising within the marriage relationship is the element of incompatibility. Once the initial excitement of the new relationship wears out, the couple soon finds themselves locked in a situation where they share nothing in common. This can be something positive if handled well, but it usually ends up bringing a lot of negativity into the equation and this eventually leads to the breakup of the marriage.
There are numerous things in today’s society that can be very damaging to a child’s moral values. That is why it is important as a parent to take every opportunity that presents itself to teach your children about the importance of having strong moral values. Having a strong moral base can make a huge impact on the ability of your child to make correct decisions in the future. Without good moral values they will likely make many bad decisions that will be bad for their future and not allow them to live to their full potential.
It is important that you begin working on your child’s moral values at a very early age. The earlier they learnt the easier it will be for them to stick to these values. Some people may have missed out on their lessons from their parents so they do not know how to teach values to their children while others were taught and are still unsure of how to pass these values to their child. If you are one of these people, do not worry, this book is full of information that will surely be helpful for you while trying to instill positive morals and values into your child. You may feel discouraged and may feel as if you will not be able to do your job as a parent and teach your child positive morals and values. Do not feel this way! It is possible and you can do it!
Do you treat your body as your soul’s best champion or as a monster that plagues you? Is it a sanctuary or a grave? Your body is your avatar (the graphic that represents you) in the physical existence. It’s the character you command, and you’re the consciousness that commands it.
It’s subject to the laws of the physical world, but your awareness isn’t so fixed. Your body is the conduct through which you express yourself in tangible form.
Therefore, its health is crucial. If your body is in ill health, it will be flawed. But when it’s vitally alive and full of vigor, it contributes to the purest extension of your thoughts.
When I’m in ill health, I’m keenly mindful of my body. I get the importance of wellness most clearly when I’m resting in bed with an illness. I keep saying, I wish to be well again. But, when I’m in great health, I hardly notice my body. It gets to be an almost un-seeable extension of my awareness.
